Support Dress codes

There has been an objection by a receptionist to a dress code. So, if you don't like it, get another job you are not forced to take this appointment.
Where do we draw the line with this issue. Next there will be demands to wear slashed jeans and trainers on the front desk. What sort of image would this project of the Company you are considering doing business with?
ALL businesses should be free to stipulate how they do business and this must include a dress code for the employees who represent that business.
The dress code should be part of the contract of employment and it is up to the individual to decide if those conditions are acceptable. Nobody is being forced to accept conditions of employment.
Please fight against any legislation which would further obstruct the promotion of individual businesses.
