It is becoming more and more apparent that archaeologists have used their profession as a licence to loot the countries of enviable histories. This, coupled with the fact that Adolf Hitler was so opposed to its repatriation, shows us exactly how wrong it would be to not demand its emmediate return to Egypt.
It's very easy to understand that the people of Berlin feel that Nefertiti's bust is a cultural symbol of their city (it being one of the most beautiful works of art ever) but it's time that we also consider the rights of the people of Egypt... IT IS THEIR HISTORY, THEIR HERITAGE AND MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE; THEIR INHERENT PROPERTY.
