We demand that New Line Cinema produce a sequel to Love Jones and use Theodore Witcher as writer and director again!!!! 
It has been 20 years since Love Jones came out and there are pressing questions to be answered:
1) Did Darius and Nina make it? Their children would be in high school right about now.
2) Did Savon and Troy's marriage survive? It looks like they had true love. Their kid would be grown. Hell, they may be grandparents.
3) Savon was a teacher, I recall? Is he a principal now?
4) Did Darius write a sequel to her book? Did Nina get a Pulitzer?
5) Did Wood ever get cured of his haterism?????
6) Did Josie ever...ever...just get some? She clearly was in constant need.
7) Who and where is Sheila's man?
8) Is the Sanctuary still open?
and most of all.....
Did the jazz in her left thigh become the blues in her right?
Its a shame that the writer/director of Love Jones hasn't been able to make a movie in 20 years....that is a crime in itself!

Lets be honest. It's been over 20 years since Love Jones dropped.
We've endured a lot in the last 20 years... 8 years of George Bush, a white guy becoming the highest selling rapper of all time, the loss of Michael Jackson AND Prince.....we need to find the answers to these pressing questions while we still can!
