Call on the new Dáil: Keep Ireland’s Promise to the World’s Poorest

From tackling hunger to fighting Ebola, Ireland has a strong history of standing up for those in need. That's a tradition we want to protect.

The new Dáil will have an important part to play in the fight against extreme poverty. But TDs will only take action if we make our voices heard.

During their time in office they must keep Ireland's promises to the world's poorest people, and ensure that most of the lifesaving Irish Aid budget goes to countries that have the least.

If we can get a majority of new TDs to commit to keeping our promises, we can help keep the world on track to end extreme poverty by 2030.
Dear Teachtaí Dála,

I support the fight against the injustice of extreme poverty and call on the new Dáil to keep Ireland’s promises to the world's poorest so that we can end extreme poverty by 2030.
