I'm trying to raise money for attorney and a petition to save my 23 month old English Mastiff from getting euthanized by Marion County public health December 5th. My husband has been laid off for over a month and I'm a stay at home mother for our 3 children. He was declared vicious by the county last month when a boy went on our property and past our privacy fence and pointed a Nerf gun at my son's head without his knowledge, and Tank went at him and supposably nipped him. They say he nicked the boys side with ONE tooth.(no other marking and no other teeth marks. If anyone knows a mastiffs mouth their not small) no stitches were needed. I've haven't seen pictures of his injury. I was told when he went to the drs they told him to wash it and it would be fine. The neighbors did a complaint about it. Then it went into Marion County hands and we had a public meeting on the situation in Nov. My vet wrote a letter on how they never used force or muzzles on him. Never showed anxiety or aggression with them even when his owner was gone. Never had problems with his overnight stays or drawing blood. My children's school writen a note saying they've never had problem when he comes everyday to drop off and pick them up from scool. I had friends/ family members/ businesses where I take him with me. Businesses that come to my house with no one home write letters. Ppl with other dogs state that he's a big lap dog that's a baby. Also my family dr. wrote a letter stating how he's helped my anxiety and panic attacks tremendouslyand has helped my well being. I brought video of myself and my 3 yrs old daughter taking his food away from him couple time, and putting my hand in front of his mouth while eating to prove he's not dangerous or vicious. And they still declared him vicious. Its like they have it out for him because he's a big dog. All I'm asking is for little help save my 3rd son. He's not my dog. He's my son. He's helped me tremendously with my health. And I'm going to do anything in my power to do the same for him, and hopefully give my children the Christmas persent they've ask for.. To not have Puppa Tank go to heaven
