PROTECT WOODBURN FOREST! Say NO to drilling for oil!

Without any public consultation, our beauty spots are being destroyed and our water sources put at risk of contamination by companies seeking oil. We NEED to take a stand against this. Please sign this petition to demand a proper public consultation about plans to perform exploratory drilling in Woodburn Forest.

I am very concerned that thousands of kilograms of toxic chemicals, including 24,000kg of barium sulphate, will be stored in a water catchment area. This is not in the public interest, but has been agreed to on our behalf.

Local protestor Tim Hedgely said: "We need a judicial review of the policies and procedures that these people have railroaded right through the democratic process. I am outraged that this has taken place ... The ordinary decent people of east Antrim need somebody to stand up for them because the elected representatives are doing absolutely nothing for them."

SHALL WE LET THESE COMPANIES DESTROY OUR BEAUTY SPOTS?
THE ANSWER IS NO!!!!
