What's more scary? An actual disease, or frightening news stories every 5 seconds about it? The only reason we have anxiety about supposed diseases, are the non-stop news flashes across almost every media outlet, from television networks, to newspaper headlines, to online search engines. This happens every couple of years with a new "disease" or "threat" to mankind that pops up. When I woke up the other day and read a news story on a popular search engine that claimed "the world's food shortage may be in trouble", I had heard enough. It's time to take a stand and tell these media outlets that we're sick of the fear-mongering that takes place every few years. They are going to continue spreading panic among us until we come together. They've done it over and over again for many years. Don't believe me, go look it up on Google or YouTube. Count for yourself the numerous "diseases" and "threats" that endlessly pop up every couple of years.
We simply cannot afford to sit idly by and wait for someone else to do this. We need to seriously take it upon ourselves to spread the word to as many people as possible. We need to send a message to them once and for all that we are fed up. The media industry has a worldwide influence that is backed by billions of dollars worldwide. Each of us alone will never make a difference, but by signing this petition and spreading the word, you are helping to grow our voices louder and louder. Right now, they have no idea that we even exist. They simply believe that we're suffering from anxiety and going along with what's out there. We have the power within us to make a difference. We have to let them know that we exist. You have to let them know we exist. This will continue year after year after year, until we, the people, take a stand and raise our voices loud and clear.
