My Daughter and I were paddleboarding on a beautiful serene day, enjoy the wonderful piece and beauty that nature has gifted us with. Then it was ruined with the intensely loud boat speeding so fast headed toward us.....worried at that speed if he didn't see us in a split second we could get hit, thankfully he turned because I know two people personally that have been hit.....lot's of swimmers on this lake. Then as we came back to the dock we both thought there was either a car on fire....because of the huge amounts of thick blue smoke coming from that direction and then we heard the extremely loud engines firing up as two very loud polluting seadoo's come barreling down. We were both dumbfounded on the smell, smoke and noise these put out and were glad we were getting out of there. As we were getting out our paddleboards we saw the incredible amount of gas and oil all around the surface where these power boats launched and our hearts dropped realizing that's probably why there are hardly any more amphibians left in this lake....we've spent every summer here for decades and seen the dramatic decline of these species. For Safety, Wildlife, Environmental, Eco-Tourism, Preservation, Clean drinking water, Noise Pollution, and enjoyment for all can we please consider banning or limiting Motorized Boats on this lake so all can enjoy this for years to come!
