Dangerous Dogs Act 1991- Tighten the law against dangerous dogs

  • by: Lynette Watson

The law should be tightened regarding the Dangerous act 1991.

Owners of dangerous dogs should all be vet checked as well as the dogs, as well as needing a dog licence.

All dangerous dogs should be by law muzzled when in a public place.

Tighter laws regarding prosecution of the owners. The current law stands that if another dog is attacked NO offence has been committed. This should be changed that no matter what animal is attacked by a dog the owner is responsible, whether the attacked took place in private or public grounds.

To many people and animals are being attacked by dangerous dogs and justice must be done to protect the innocent
