Killers ! The Speeding Motorist. New Forest Animal Road Deaths Over 100 a Year. STOP IT NOW.

Every animal Ponies- Cattle- Donkeys-Pigs and more killed are a great loss to the Forest, The challenge is, of course, to reduce the number of accidents every year. A 40 MPH Speed Limit gives the majority of road users the sense that 50 MPH is fine Many speeding at far more than that - It's NOT It's got to Stop. Killers are on our roads, the mutilation of animals by ignorant, impatient, aggressive drivers has to stop - Sign and get the council to act reduce the limit and add more cameras to penalise and help fund the emergency services the people involved in dealing with the Mess. New Forest National Park Authority, the Verderers/Agisters, New Forest District Council, Hampshire County Council, Hampshire Constabulary, Forestry Commission, the New Forest Trust, New Forest Association, British Deer Society and the Commoners Defence Association all these and more can make a difference if they acted instead of looking the other way. Make it 25 and let animals stay alive !

Dear New Forest District Council :, Lymington Council:, Local MP.

Please read why we started this petition. I realise that this alone with current legislation, speed limits in force. The work that was involved in introducing a 40mph limit initially was excellent. But now with so many animals mutilated and killed we raise this to see if and what can be acheived to aleviate the carnage on New Forest roads. Please may we ask for the neccesssary protocols and procedures along with any relavent material facts you may be willing to supply for us to progress along this route.

Kindest regards

Richard Burton
