Put flashing pedestrian signs and a crosswalk button at Park Inn & Cesar Chavez Center

Cars do not stop for pedestrians trying to use the crosswalk even though there are signs. It would be safer & better for drivers if pedestrians could press a button, making the signs flash so drivers stop. There are a lot of kids who cross the street there to get to the community center to play on the playground, play basketball, go to & from school or go to the restaurants.
Please put up new pedestrian crosswalk signs that flash when pedestrians press the crossing button. A reminder sign that drivers have to stop for pedestrians would be great as well.
