I watch the Aspca in TV. You do very good work BUT once I saw when people tried to catch cats from a hoarder. I was so upset about what I saw. There was also a norwegian forestcat. I have reaced them and I know exatly all about their behavior.
The usual stray cat ; shorthaired and very usual you can work with them ok. But You dont know that the norwegian forestcat is quite a different cat. It has many different kind of hair and the longest are 15 cm long. The body and all the parts like legs paws everything in this cat moves much more than what happens in other cats. The nails are hundred times sharper than any other cats nails.
Now the man took the norwegia from the tail and of course the cat turned upwards because it can and hit the mans hand and legs all the nails. He finally catch the cat which was in schock and what happened to it...ASPCA killed it.
It is very important that you know cats aswel you know dogs.
I would not say anything because you do so much good work but I cannot forget the norwegian forestcat. The more you know the best work you do.
