Many people in the mold community have been talking about the Hi Tech Air Solutions machines, but some people have said that they are afraid to contribute to the discussion because of the risk that the company might sue them.
The goal of this petition is for everyone to feel free to have an open discussion about their understanding of the science of these machines as well as about their experiences with the machines.

AN OPEN LETTER TO THE OWNERS OF "HI TECH AIR SOLUTIONS"
Recently there has been a great deal of discussion and debate within the mold community about the machines made by your company, “Hi Tech Air Solutions.”
Some people have suggested that this is a new technology that has the potential of helping individuals with mold illness to move toward more normal lives.
Insofar as these machines indeed might be helpful to people, it is important for there to be the opportunity for open discussion of this technology within the mold community, so that we will have a better idea of whether and how it might be of benefit.
Recently, there have been reports that some people in the community have expressed hesitation to participate in discussion about the science of these machines, due to their fears that the company will sue them if they say something that the company does not like.
According to these reports, these people's fears are due at least in part to the lawsuit that the company recently has filed against Carl Grimes, an indoor air quality professional who has raised public questions about the science of the machines.
Having people be reluctant to freely discuss the science of the product because they are afraid of being sued if they do is an unhealthy state for this community to be experiencing.
Thus, I would like to ask that you reconsider your lawsuit against Carl Grimes and also promise not to file any similar lawsuits against anyone else, so that an open and healthy public discussion about the merits of your product can take place in this community.
I am looking forward to learning about your products in a positive and peaceful atmosphere conducive to focusing on their actual attributes very soon and into the future.
