Artbox UK is a Community based learning workshop & gallery the first Pop Up shop in the Borough. Artbox is a unique enterprise & extremely well received by the community.Here the local community & surrounding areas people of all ages, genders, abilities can come in & learn/renew skills in art, design & craft. Due to the heavy workload of teachers in schools & colleges, bespoke Art & Crafts & traditional skills are not longer taught either at all or any great detail. Children from as young 7 years old can experience skills such as using a sewing machine, painting skills, pottery, jewellery & paper crafts plus many more. Not only are these skills enjoyable to learn but they are beneficial in terms of eye, hand co-ordination, following instructions & working within a group. Artbox also provides one to one tuition to all areas of the community who need specialist teaching such as Autism, Visual & hearing impairment, Parkinsons, physical disabilities & special educational needs. In addition to the popular workshops local artists who produce quality hand made items show case and sell their work in the gallery, which in turn inspires those attending the workshops. Artbox desperately needs your help & support in staying in it`s current location in Whitton High Street.

 ARTBOXuk is not about making shed loads of money 

   Its about putting ART and Bespoke crafts back into the whole                                                    community.

We manage to raise the rent for the enterprise but cannot do this if we are to start paying the very high business rates.we would have to double the prices for workshops and artists showcasing.

We are in need of a grant from the council, a benefactor or business.
