Recently the Canadian Space Agency with the support of Facebook have hijacked a page created by a passionate Aerospace: Catherine Laplace-Builhe. She is the creator of the community page on Facebook "Canadian Space Agency". This page was created May 4, 2010 before the creation of the official page.

This page had over 7,770 fans at last count. The page has disappeared from Facebook for 1 week and the official page of the CSA-CSA which accounted less than 500 fans had grown to more than 8000 fans. Facebook to merge the two pages at the request of the Canadian Space Agency at no notice, nor to its creator and administrator of the page, or its supporters (those who "like" page). This operation results in the diversion of 7,771 fans, these people were not informed of the change of "ownership"!
These processes are disturbing and shameful, counterproductive! Is this the end pages and community groups linked directly or indirectly to institutions or governments ? So the end of participatory democracy on social networks ?
