The Coty of Pasadena, CA has been draconian in their parking laws and enforcement their of. Understandably, parking in the various downtown areas should be controlled and on a "pay for use" basis.

But residents of the surrounding areas find it difficult, and petty, to acquire an annual overnight parking pass for cars at their residences where parking for more than one car is not available.

Parking passes should be available, at no charge, for up to 2 working automobiles, for each household in the city of Paadena. Residents, who pay local taxes on water & power, as well as goods and services in Pasadena, shouldn't be penalized for living here. Resident, by way of ownership or lease, should have a parking pass available for up to two automibiles that allows street parking within 300 feet of their residence.

College students, second home owners, and residents with limited parking available are being persecuted by the current parking laws.
