Demand US Cooperate With International Investigation of Afghanistan War Crimes!

Last year, the International Criminal Court declared its intent to investigate, among other entities, the United States and its allies over allegations of war crimes in Afghanistan during 2003 and 2004. These allegations of "torture, cruel treatment, outrages upon personal dignity and rape" committed by U.S. forces, the CIA and local allies.

In response, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo says the United States will deny and revoke visas for any member of the International Criminal Court involved in investigating these war crimes.

No nation is above the rule of law and the United States should be no different. By working against the International Criminal Court, the Trump Administration is demonstrating that not only is aware that the U.S. and its allies participated in war crimes but that it simply does not care about justice. What kind of message does this send to the rest of the world?

Add your name to this petition to call on Secretary Pompeo to reverse this decision and to cooperate with the International Criminal Court's investigations!
