This is an audio i listenend to a few weeks ago. This is a true story of a ten year old girl witnessing her mother's death. It's a tragic reality that this is common in El Salvador. This young girl lost her mother on December 25th 2007. That's right. On Christmas she tried to help her pregnant mother get help by calling 911. Her mother was only 25 years old and pregnant. The little girl now should be age 18-19 years old. http://youtu.be/ADjCh3j4Z2k

The deaths of women from domestic violence needs to stop. The 911 phone call from the mysterious little girl back in 2007 impacted my life greatly. I have two daughters and to reflect back on that little girl's distress and terrifying moments to witness losing a loved one is heartbreaking. Why is it that the U.S. can help other countries when there is an unjust and leave others in the dark. I pray for this little girl and for those that still to this day suffer from the violence and abuse. We need to say STOP. Enough is Enough!
