HELP FREE MALI.

Mali is an elephant who since the age of 3 has been living in a small enclosure in Manila zoo. All she has experienced so far is just a life of misery life in captivity. In the wild, elephants like Mali live and travel in family herds. Female elephants in particular spend most of their time in the company of other elephants, socializing with, and nurturing each other. They are intelligent animals who communicate with one another, support and help each other. At the Manila zoo, Mali spends her days alone in a barren enclosure.  Her 35 years of intense confinement, loneliness, and boredom have led her to a state of profound depression. In fact she is so lonely that she comforts herself by holding her own tail.

Mali needs to be retired from the zoo without delay. Please help us free her so that she can live the rest of her life in a sanctuary where she will be able to roam free, and socialize with other elephants.  Together we can make a difference. We can help Mali find freedom and happiness at last.

The zoo has a chance to prove that it really cares for its animals. Mali has paid her dues. Now it's time for the zoo to pay her back.  Let her live the rest of her life happy and free.  Please release her to a sanctuary where she will have the care and love she deserves.
