It is clear to me as adults we are failing at Animal protection and safety, whether it is Wild Life or Domestic Life. I am proposing that all schools introduce a progarm in early education and beyond for the caring of all animals on land and in the sea. We need to show childern the cruetly of the Canadian Seal slaughter, The Japanese Dolphin slaughter, huge nets dredging the oceans killing any thing and everything in the way, Japan killing whales for scientific reasons (?) , how Shark Fin soup is made starting with chopping off it's dorsal fin and throughing the live shark back into the water to die, cutting off Rhino horns, butchering Elephants for the Ivory Tusks. Chinese milking Bears in cages for bile, killing Tigers for human belief of supplying powers, importing and exporting Exotic Species and the list goes on and on.
These animals cannot speak and are at the mercy of humans and we are not handling their welfare for the future. So hopefully by introducing a specific school class it will make these events more publc and eventually demand a more positive result in Animal Care and Protection.
