The National Institutes of Health has given more than $3 million to a series of cruel experiments on cats at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  We were disgusted to know about her. Her name was Double Trouble, but her tough name did not protect her from barbaric experiments at the University of Wisconsin- Madison (UW). Peta obtained documents showing that this orange tabby cat had a stainless-steel post screwed to her skull, steel coils implanted in their eyes, a toxic substance applied to her inner ear in order to deafen her, and electrical devices implanted in her head. That's no the worst of it.  Double trouble woke up during surgery. Her face became paralyzed. Records show that afterward, she seemed "depressed". When she was too sick to be useful, she was killed and decapitated so that her brain   could be cut apart. The experiment on her was deemed a failure and never even published. If you would like to help end this pain and suffering to these helpless cats please Contact medical schools that use live animals and ask them to eliminate live animal labs from their curricula. There are 30 cats a year that they put through this hell.
