Demand the Duxbury Mall and Book Shed Remain Open

It has come to my attention that a request to shut down the Duxbury Mall and Book Shed might make its way to town hall

The Duxbury Mall and Book Shed has been a cherished part of our Duxbury Transfer Station for so long. A place to bring our unwanted belongings that others see as treasures.

A place where many ppl take books and items to donate to those in need.

A place that us Duxbury Residents value and want to continue to value.

And lastly, without the Mall, we will be forced to pay to bring in many items that would otherwise been picked up by someone else at the Mall

Please, if you've ever dropped off, picked up, or enjoyed this aspect of our dump, sign this petition so that any requests to the DPW to close it down will be dismissed.

if this issue does get to town hall, we will have the ammunition necessary

I thank you for your time.

I want ant to also remind everyone, to help with the Mall... Please do not leave junk there! It's just extra items that must be dealt with by the transfer station employees.

To The Duxbury Town Hall/DPW,

We, residents of the town of Duxbury, are petitioning to stop any requests that may come your way to close the Duxbury Mall and Book Shed.

We value these areas for a variety of reasons:

- a place where we can bring unwanted items so that others can enjoy them

- a place to find fantastic items, whether it be something we need, toys for the children in our lives and even items we will treasure for a long time

- the book shed provides readers with unlimited books, valuable information and of course a great read to bring to the beach

- many of us residents utilize these areas to bring much needed donations to those in need.. such as children's shelters, women's shelters, prisons, and mental health facilities. (Self help books are invaluable to these people) We will not stand to see it all shut down.

It's valuable to our community. Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely, The Residents of Duxbury
