Save a Child's Heart is Israel's largest humanitarian organization and has saved the lives of more than 2600 children from more than 42 countries around the world and has treated 1000's more. Additionally, SACH organizes medical missions to developing countries and trains physicians from those countries. The entire SACH medical team completely volunteers its time and services.
We urge you to approve the application of the Save a Child's Heart Foundation (SACH) for NGO status. SACH holds a free, weekly cardiology clinic for Palestinian children from Gaza and the West Bank. As part of its international physician training program, SACH provides on-site training in pediatric cardiac care in conjunction with partner hospitals around the globe. SACH staff has undertaken numerous medical missions to China, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Moldova, and elsewhere treating patients, performing surgery, and training doctors. The entire SACH medical team completely volunteers its time and services.
