Ban Horse Slaughter Forever

A Montana senator, Max Baucus, sponsored a petition to lift the ban on slaughtering horses because he said it would create jobs. Who in their right mind would want a job killing and cutting up horses?

We need to petition a senator to sponsor a bill to ban - forever - the slaughter of horses, donkeys, burros and mules; and to ban the transportation of these animals to Canada or Mexico for slaughter.

Our horses need your help. Gandhi said that a lot can be learned from a society/culture by how they treat their animals. Let's develop compassionate methods for solving these situations. Killing is not the answer.
