End Child Labour in China

There are something in the region of 250 million children globally who work, sometimes up to 18 hours a day, seven days a week. Of these it is estimated that 37% are Chinese. They have no childhood, they have no rights and many of them are separated from their families. Many children sleep for a few hours on a concrete floor and live on a small bowl of rice a day. This is not life and should not be allowed to continue simply to feed the West with the cheap products which flood our shops from China.

We the Undersigned hereby ask you to put an end to child labour in your factories and other workplaces and give Chinese children back their childhood. Please give their jobs to adults instead and allow all Chinese to raise their children to enjoy an education and freedom to be children.
