Request for investigation into DeviantArt.com

Target:
Attorney General of Texas
This is a petition that focuses on DeviantArt.com... a host of artworks of various artists.  Many have complained to me that there have been issues with this site, so I created an account, posted my own photos, and have now found that this site, in fact, falsely accuses people of "art theft", which is very slanderous.. and they are libel from my understandings of the laws that are in place in Texas, and also at the Federal level.  Please know that the only justification that could be shown to me, for me, being accused of "art theft", was a flicker.com link to someone's account that was dated 2007, and DeviantArt alleged that this predates my work, and deleted my photos...

A little insight... I have these photos in various places online dating back to 2001, yet I was not asked to partake in their decision, nor given the latitude to defend my work, or my reputation...

I am asking for an investigation of this site's practices, and into the legal aspects of what they are doing... To me, it seems that they are protecting people that work for them, or are closely associated with them, that have, in fact, robbed artwork from others, and claim it as their own... An online search of this site will show under Wikipedia that this organization definatley has some shady past history.

As a long-time user of DeviantArt who has recently deciphered the legalese in the Service Agreement, I'd really like to see DeviantArt undergo a little bit of investigation, or at least see more artists become aware of exactly what they're signing up for.

Any deviant business in any way is incorrect in my eyes and in the eyes of the law. I think the Police should be brought into this matter.
