Tell President Paul Biya that the slaughter of elephants continues in Cameroon

In less than a month over 200 elephants have been killed in Cameroon for their tusks and these ivory poachers are Sudanese. The poachers are going into the National Park from Chad and killing these protected elephants.

With Cameroon's elephant population estimated at around 1000- 1500 elephants, this recent slaughter is a one of the most devastating and horrific cases of wildlife slaughter that has emerged in a long while. These elephants were supposed to be protected as they were in a national park.

Tell the government of Cameroon that they need to do more to protect elephants and put a stop to this atrocious elephant slaughtering.

We the undersigned AVDA Cameroon sincerely ask the government of Cameroon to do more to protect the fragile and decreasing population of elephants. Recently, over 200 elephants were slaughters for their ivory in less than a month. This cannot happen as these elephants were in the Bouba Ndjida National Park and they were supposed to be protected.

Please do everything you can to protect these valuable animals and stop their unnecessary slaughter such a tragic situation for our country.

Thank you.
