I will need all your help on this one, because as we all know most of the governments I have listed do NOT care about Animals, Animal Habitats and lets be honest they rarely even care about their own people, but we have to take a stand and help one of the most beautiful creatures on the earth, the Snow Leopard.
Unlike their larger cousin, the tiger, Snow Leopards are offered little protection in their native habitats. The Snow Leopard's native habitat is closely tied to grazing grounds of its preferred prey, which is also the same land that farmers wish to use for their livestock. This leads to a reduction in prey animals due to competition with livestock, which leads the leopards to turn to the livestock for food. The taking of livestock often leads to retribution killings (Slaughters) by farmers, Now remember these are the same farmers who trap and kill the prey that the Snow Leopard needs to survive, So who is to blame..... Yep the farmers. The Snow Leopard is also intentionally hunted (slaughtered)for its fur, as well as for other body parts that are used in Traditional Chinese Medicine as a substitute for much more rare tiger parts, including bones, claws meat and sexual organs. Poaching of live animals for use in circuses and zoos is also depleting the wild populations.... So once again man slaughters animals for parts (we don't need), Skins that only heartless morons would wear and most of all the greed of having a trophy.. Over the past decade, much of the Snow Leopard's native range in the Near East has been an area of major military conflict. Damage to the habitat from military action and the demands of displaced peoples for local resources have had a significant impact on the animals' habitat.... We must leave these animals alone and we must stand and fight to help protect them before its too late and they are all gone, we are destroying all they have, (life, food, family, homes), when governments do this to people we hear an uproar of support and help floods in, but when it happens to animals NO ONE cares.... WE DO. Please sign and share fight the good fight and once we get the numbers I will do all I can to get the petition to each government I listed at least twice before the summer hunting trips start. With respect always, James Howie.
