Research have shown that "one garbage truck of plastic is dumped in our oceans every minute." Furthermore, "one million seabirds and 100,000 marine mammals are killed annually from plastic in our oceans. Because this plastic waste damages the ecosystem and enters the food chain, human health is at risk. Please ask all countries to contribute financially to the cleanup.
