Please sign and share this petition to stop animal torture and cruelty, not only in Jordan but other countries nationwide!! When I saw this video of the torture performed on these poor sheep, I cannot stop hyperventilating. OMG!!! They are tortured, beaten severely and throats slashed; then left to suffer and die while these demons look on. Think of the person taking the video!
Take caution in watching the video – it is so disturbing and very difficult to witness. Although animal cruelty is such a common problem worldwide, in many cultures, it seems to be a huge issue in Jordan and the live export trade. These animals were exports from Australia and the Australian government is investigating these horrid export trade practices. Animals Australia says there is a need for strong sanctions for breaches of the government’s Exporter Supply Chain Assurance System, which demands exporters adhere to animal welfare standards and demonstrate control throughout the supply chain. They also say “It is clear that without strong regulatory sanctions exporters will not take their legal responsibility seriously.” These exporters and abusers need to be held accountable for their abusive actions.
Take the necessary precautions when you watch the video of such horrifying animal abuse and let’s take a stand against these practices - http://www.theguardian.com/world/video/2013/oct/31/animal-cruelty-live-export-video . What you are witnessing in Jordan is the contravention or illegal behaviors in regard to rules that are meant to protect these Australian-reared animals from unnecessary cruelty. Please sign and share this petition to stop animal torture and cruelty, not only in Jordan but other countries nationwide!!
Animals Australia, Animal Exports Worldwide, Australian Government – When animals are exported, laws really need to be more strongly enforced. This video about the slaughtered and tortured sheep, plus others similar are so disturbing, it gets me and others like me very ill to look at them!! It is understandably difficult to watch how all people in other cultures handle the animals that are exported but more has to be done to make them accountable for their actions. As long as they get away with the animal cruelty and abuse, the more it will occur. Punish them for the abuse!!!!!!!!!!!!
