Demand to use user paid for Roadside assistance, NOT rip off Halton Borough £150 tow off charge

Breaking down on the Mersey Gateway bridge Halton is a nightmare. If you are unfortunate enough to break down, Halton Borough Council see fit to have a private company tow you off for a few of £150 for a car(more for larger vehicles. Halton Borough Council anlobg with mersey Gateway do not allow 'User paid roadside assistance. This is unjust, unfair and corrupt in an area which already is under pressure of the tolled bridge. We demand action to remove this callous act and stop ripping off the UK driver.
