PA governor Tom Wolf is proposing an income tax hike to cover the current budget deficit. This petition symbolizes a formal protest, by the working class citizens of the state of PA, against additional legally mandated withdraws from our hard-earned paychecks.
By signing this petition you're acknowledging there exists as well as support alternative means to free up, and/or create the funds necessary to balance the budget.
Signing this petition does not necessarily mean that you support creation of new tax revenue via the closing of corporate tax loop-holes and/or the legalization and taxation of marijuana, but rather you agree there exists other avenues to reach the budget's goals. You agree that alternative avenues need to be seriously considered, and are ultimately more desirable than a hike of the taxation on the income of individuals.
