Mass culling of wild boar and blue bulls are on full swing in India - Abhishek Kadyan

STOP mass cullings of wild animals at once because wild animals belongs to the Natural food chain, part of our Eco-balance, hence omit section 62 of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 and replace toothless PCA Act, 1960. STOP declaring them Vermin and we expect private bill from Smt. Maneka Gandhi, replacing said section along with toothless PCA Act, 1960 at once, instead of lips movement.

STOP mass cullings of wild animals at once because wild animals belongs to the Natural food chain, part of our Eco-balance, hence omit section 62 of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972. STOP declaring them Vermin. The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 became toothless and ineffective, to protect animals from unnecessary pain and sufferings being offenses against this legislation's are non cognizable in legal terms, except three sub sections of section 11 and section 12, besides it offenses against said legislation are bailable with minor punishments, in past during 1999-2000, Naresh Kadyan, Chairman, People for Animals (PFA) Haryana raised his voice, which was followed by rest of India about amendment in the existed laws for animal welfare, Draft of Animal Welfare act, 2011 was prepared after long battle but till today not converted in bill, to place before the Parliament, hence we expect from Smt. Maneka Gandhi, to stop lips movements for animals and place her private bill for replacement of ineffective PCA Act, 1960, without any further delay. We further expect immediate private bill from the side of Smt. Maneka Gandhi, omitting section 62 of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972, which empowered Central Government, to declare wild animals as vermin.
