Save Alpena's Prime Downtown parking lot from becoming a Plaza

We have way too many people working downtown to replace the Third Ave. and River St. parking lot with a Plaza. We need more parking spaces.

All businesses downtown and their customers find parking difficult. Businesses bringing their large office staffs downtown made matters worse.

All business owners will only be able to park behind City Hall, Armory, Post Office and part of Carter St. if Council passes this plan.

The parking committee( DDA, the City, DPW and the City police) came up with this plan. They all have close parking all year long.

The 1000 parking spaces are schattered a long area.

We need a parking ramp; and the DDA can build their Plaza across from the Chamber or by Fletcher St.
