Hospitality Strike Pay Us Higher Rates

Dear fellow Hospitality industry workers

I'm sure most if not all of you who read this is aware that the fairwork commison has slashed the hospitality industry's penalty rates, this is highly ridiculous

1. The hospitality industry is already struggling to get workers especially for Chefs

2. Our industry is one of the most hard working industry globally

3. They want to decrease our penalty rates for what reason? To help small businesses? Can't own a business and not pay your staff correctly then you shouldn't be running a business it's that simple.

4. People won't work for free yes we might be greedy in wanting to earn those extra few dollars but we are not going to be working for free you know that we work in one of the hardest more stressful industry's and you want to take our penalty rates away?

5. What's a person got to do in this world to make a living?

6. Should all the Hospitality workers just walk out of our jobs and be an electrician and earn 2-3 times more than what we would earn in the hospitality industry?

7. If all Hospitality workers walked off our job for 24hours I'm sure you'd see the world cripple in pain here's why

There'd be "NO"
-cafes open (no morning coffees, no breakfast at your local cafe)
-no pubs open (no alcohol, no pub food, dinner, lunch)
Etc... there would be absolutely nothing open we pretty much make this world what it is today without us the world would be going no where,
So I've come to the conclusion that yes we deserve penalty rates on the weekends.

So my message to all you Hospitality workers let's make some noise and go on a 24 hour strike close up all the shops and make the world realise how much they need our industry.

well release the date of this strike once we reach our goal of 1 million signatures
