Urge Universal Animal Organisations to work together to save all animals starting with those at Sura

Animals are suffering in the hands of our callous, greedy, possessive race  and  it is time to take a united stand. I appeal to everyone who reads this to  share  this petition to death. If each one of you go into the petition, copy the open letter (or better still write your own personal thoughts) and send it to every animal organisation you know then we may just get the  global community to stand up, look and listen to our voices, the  voices of the  animals across the globe. Let's start with rescuing the poor  tormented souls  who are residents within the confines of Sarayaba Zoo in Indonesia. Deemed to be the  worst and cruelest Zoo.

Dear Fellow Animal Sympathisers,

I write today to ask for your help in rescuing the poor souls who reside at Surayaba Zoo in Indonesia. I am sure you are aware of the conditions at the Zoo, the number of deaths that have been reported, and the absolute necessity to get as many of those animals out of there as quickly as ever possible.

I realise that this is indeed a HUGE, MASSIVE, COLOSSAL challenge, both politically and physically, but when have you ever turned your face away from a task deemed too large to undertake? I urge you with all my heart to come together as members of the global community to reach out to the creatures that are desperate for your help, for ANY help, to free them from their nightmare. It is going to be difficult, it is going to be a logistical task like no other but I know you can do it. WE can do it.

Informing others as to their plight brings with it choice and hopefully action. Many people are just unaware of the daily abuse, neglect and suffering. It is far too easy to turn away and think someone else will deal with the atrocities but with that attitude nothing will ever get done and we will continue to lose the most majestic and beautiful creatures we have the privilege to share this planet with. We owe them more than can be calculated, we HAVE to be their voice.

Individually it is difficult but collectively we can move mountains, we can make a huge difference and we can give back to the animals what we all take for granted, their FREEDOM. With the dedication and committment of every animal welfare organisation the resources multiply and what seems an impossible task could become the greatest collective movement ever.

Please help in whatever way you can. We have to act don't we?

Let's make 2014 the year we say 'No more'. Surayaba Zoo is the linchpin in seeking Sanctuary for all animals in need across the world. This is just the start.

Thank you all so very much for signing this petition. We're not yet at the hoped for amount of signatures but I think we can still do it if we pull together, which is what we are asking all the authorities in animal welfare to do. So please continue to share this around and hopefully our numbers will grow and we shall see help given to all animals very soon.

With Love xx

Thank you to all who have signed so far - it is very much appreciated.

FROM WSPA -

I think several organisations are working on this as it has been going on for so long. WSPA does not usually get involved with zoos but because of all the terrible reports we received it was decided we should take action. I am glad that you feel encouraged by hearing what WSPA is doing and we can all just hope that together we can improve the lives of the animals concerned.

Wishing you all a very Happy New Year. Let us all continue to fight for what is right into 2014 and the year after, and the year after that

We are not only blessed to have a voice but we are blessed to have each other.

Thank you for all you have done so far.
