Demand for an Unconditional Basic Income of $2,500 per month for every Adult Australian Citizen

Australia should start paying every adult (whether they work or not) an Unconditional basic income (UBI) of $2,500 per month, based on the idea that the citizens will have more time to devote to things they are intrinsically interested in, instead of spending the majority of their time worrying about how they are going to survive. As many individuals in this country struggle to meet their everyday needs, this income initiative is the promise that every citizen deserves a living wage , so they can always survive without basic financial worry. Every person in this world deserves the comfort of knowing they have somewhere safe to sleep, a hot meal when they're hungry and basic necessities met. Especially with the loss of jobs currently happening under the Abbott government, it is becoming harder and harder to find work and get by in our economy. It has to stop! We should have the chance to better ourselves rather than drown in a pool of debt we call the system. According to Section 51 P-4,P-12,P-13 Of The Australian Constitution The Act- Parliament & Prime Minster have duty & the legal power to solve all monetary problems. The banks have no power! Switzerland is one country that has already proposed this initiative and given time we will see the results.
