To rear baby chickens and ducklings for people to kill in their own homes is
disgusting, it's not known if there is a licence involved but if not there should be.
Selling eggs is one thing but to delbirately breed young animals for slaughter is wrong,
and probably illegal, then there's the risk to public health after they've killed these animals
and it has to be done humanely which is the law and the disposal of their bones down chutes
into big bins and skips in main chutes rooms. Some councils are okay when it's meat for your own table, but this is totally different.
A poultry expert, via nother website, advised they would stick with selling the eggs and not
to go for the what this other person's now doing, certainly with a hen's fertilised eggs, the poor thing's sitting on 9 at the moment and isn't out scatching about with the others as she had been, one person said. "She's sitting on 9 eggs that's animal abuse, do they even like animals?" this was agreed with.
