We are two Rwandan nationals who thrive for unity, reconciliation and peace in the country. We believe that in order to overcome the problems that our country is facing now, Rwandans must unite because there is no peace and no reconciliation without unity. Being this so, this blog was created to promote, educate and sensitize the necessity for the creation of lasting peace in Rwanda. Our opinions are based on an economic, legal and political points of view. We created this blog in order to make it a platform for discussing about Rwandan problems and trying to suggest solutions. We chose name "le Rwanda unifié" because as Rwandans who grew up in the post genocide era, we want to contribute not only for unity but political, economic and legal stability. The current Rwanda is being destroyed by lack of political and civil rights. The current political climate is based on an authoritarian regime where all Rwandans are obliged to worship the ruling political party without freedom of expression. We hope that this blog will be un umbrella of people who want to express themselves without fearing to put their lives and those of their relatives in danger.
