Demand an End to the Hunt on Sharks!

Sharks are beautiful, mysterious, and majestic creatures. Every year, over 73 million are killed. Because of the hunting and killing of these sharks, many species face extinction. Basically, if you were to make three groups on the situation, the largest group would consist of people who are unaware of what is going on in our oceans. The second largest group would not care and agree that sharks should be MURDERED, and lastly, the smallest group would be the people who want this to end and have not taken action. If we continue on this path, there will not be 73 thousand, 73 hundred, or even 73 sharks left. They will be gone. Sharks, gone forever.
As an animal lover, I beg that people sign this petition. Sharks are not so different from us. We eat when we are hungry, we have kids, we mate, and we have the same 5 senses. Sharks are among the top most stereotyped animals on earth and because of that people want them off the face of the earth. Some hunt these animals for the adrenaline of catching a killer, but most kill these animals for their fins. Once these sharks are caught, they are stripped of their fins and simply tossed back into the ocean to drown.
These animals are dangerous, but they are not malicious. Only 10% of all attacks are fatal. Also, more people die of ant bites than shark attacks, yet sharks are still the bad guys. How would you feel if your life were being put in danger every day? Scared, angry, revengeful? Well, put that feeling in a shark, and that is how they would feel. Keep in mind that we are taking them out of their home; we are taking them out of their swimming pool all so that we can swim in the oceans because we do not want to share with these animals. I believe that people should sign this petition because these amazing animals deserve to be on this planet living their life just as much as we do.
