Help free Juana Luz Tobar Ortega

    Juana Luz Tobar Ortega Has been in sanctuary since May of 2017. She was the first person in North Carolina to go into sanctuary and 2 years later still remains in sanctuary. She fled from Guatemala and was seeking asylum in ‘99. She left to go back for two months without authorization to take care of her daughter who had a life-threatening illness. She came back after two months under a false-visa and lived in the US peacefully, visiting immigration once a year from 2011 on to have her work visa extended up until 2017 when they told her she had to leave the U.S. by May 31st. She has been at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Greensboro ever since. Help free Juana Luz Tobar Ortega!
