Bring Girls who Code to KPHS!

I am a rising senior at King Philip High School, and I've always had an interest in computers. But when I searched for coding classes in my area, I couldn't find an affordable one. Our school does offer AP computer science, but it can be difficult to fit in an AP class into an already busy schedule.

Did you know that today 24% of computer scientists are women and it is predicted to drop to 22% by 2027? We can't let this happen! Think of all the opportunities coding can bring us in the future! Join my friend Gabby and I in spreading entrepreneurship to the girls in KPHS through coding.

It is clear that KPHS girls want to learn to code. So sign our petition asking KPHS administrators to start Girls Who Code to help end the gender gap in computer science. We will not let King Philip be a part of the statistic!
