SCHOOL IS NOT A PRISON!

I go to John Mason School, Abingdon, UK. They are currently installing Big tall electric gates at the front and all around the school that automatically close at 8:30 and do not reopen at 3:10. This is locking us in and leaving us with no way to get out. It's scary. School is meant to be loving, not a big scary place which they lock you in. It may be to keep bad people out, but how many cases happen of which people have snuck into schools and taken students. Not many and it is very rare. They are always going on about needing money for education, so why are they spending it on this ??? I hope with enough people we can take these fences down and use the money for something much more efficient and practical. Please, think, if you were a student, would you feel safer being trapped in for 6 hours unable to get out, or safer ????
