Stop playing pretend to help games with the Home Affordable Refinance Program HARP

  • by: Douglas House
  • recipient: The United States Congress and the American Banking System

The current government guidelines regarding the Home Affordable Refinance Program or HARP, leaves millions of families who have been responsible mortgage holders, with no alternative refinance options.

The one most current regulation that leaves most home owners out of the picture states that to qualify, a mortgage had to be generated before June 1,2009, and home values have continued with a precipitous drop since that time and that leaves millions of otherwise qualifying home owners completely out of the picture.

* It's time to tell congress to stop playing pretend to help, on the HARP program.

* It's time to tell congress that HARP deadline dates should be at inclusive from January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2013 so that every single responsibly held family mortgage, trashed by the banking industry needs to be made right by the banking industry.
