Please Make The American Girl Dolls in America

There isn't one thing about The American Girl Dolls that is made in America. Their manufacturing company is in China. However, the concept of The American Girl Dolls was thought of in Middletown, Wisconson, headquarters. Please read the email response I received today. All I am saying is, American jobs are suffering because of China getting most of our business. If The American Girl Dolls were actually Made in America, the way I believe they should be, I would not have bothered to write this petition. Thank you for reading and possibly signing.

majority of the world's toys are made in China, and we are no exception.
It's important to note that all the innovation and conceptual work that
goes into creating our American Girl dolls and books is done (as it
always has been) at our headquarters in Middleton, Wisconsin. Our design
center, editorial, and research teams are all located in Middleton. In
addition, our call center and Customer Service are located in Wisconsin.

For more than 25 years, we have been known for our stories that depict
pivotal periods in American history and show what growing up was like
for American girls throughout the development of our country. The name
American Girl is derived from that concept.

What's important to us is providing our customers with the safest,
highest quality toys at the best possible prices, while maintaining our
leadership position as one of the most responsible global manufacturers
in the consumer products industry today.

My name is Barb Knight. I have two great nieces I am contemplating about
purchasing American Girl Dolls

for. I come from a very patriotic family. We celebrate Flag Day with
American made flags, we celebrate

the 4th of July the same way, our American made flags fly proudly
outside our homes and when our

families eat 4th of July food we make sure everyone has little American
flag that has also been made in

America.

You see how important it is to my family that the products we purchase
sincerely are made in America.

American made products produces more American jobs and more American
jobs pushes foreign countries

like China to the back burner. Are American Girl Dolls made in America?
If not, American Girl Dolls is a

fraudulent company and I will not be purchasing American Girl Dolls.
