Release Information about Puppy Beaten in Elevator

Hazel, the pit pull puppy was bought to Animal Care and Control (ACC) after a relative of Brian Freeman of the Bronx, was caught on a security camera visciously beating the puppy in an elevator on Aug. 26th, 2012.

Freeman, a resident of the Bronx, was arrested on Sept. 8th, 2012 and the puppy was reportedly treated and being cared for at:
AC&C Bronx Pet Receiving Center
464 East Fordham Road
Bronx, NY 10458

In the 35 second videotape, released to the public by the New York City Police Department,- the puppy was kicked seven times, slapped, and then spit on.
