Petition for Inclusion in Proposed Chautauqua NPP

The balloon effect of this proposed Chautauqua NPP will very adversely affect the East side of our 10th St. Block between Cascade and Aurora.

Already under heavy parking pressure from Chautauqua, The Academy, the University and many nearby rentals, the neighbors on our block petitioned the City for a NPP and were granted Block 178 NPP (East side of 10th Street between Cascade and Aurora) in 2010.

However our present NPP limits FREE 2-hour parking (once per day) ONY between 9 AM and 5 PM on WEEKDAYS ONLY, and WITH NO RESTRICTIONS ON WEEKENDS.

The proposed Chautauqua NPP stipulates PAID 2-hour parking between 7 AM and 9 PM SEVEN DAYS A WEEK.

Especially during the summer months, Chautauqua draws very heavy use seven days a week.

As our block directly abuts the Chautauqua NPP, we are going to be heavily affected.

THEREFORE: We the undersigned neighbors living on 10th St. request the INCLUSION of the East side of our block between Cascade and Aurora in the proposed Chautauqua NPP.
