Ban the chaining and tethering of dogs in Ireland

The tethering and chaining of dogs in Ireland is not covered in the Animal Welfare legislation. There is no place for this cruel practice in the 21st century.
Education in schools on domestic animal welfare
Every pet needs adequate shelter from the elements, food and water , those that are chained are more often than not also denied the later . By contacting your local councilors and TD's to change the law to include the banning of tethering and chaining of dogs .
