Keep the smoking age in Virginia at 18! Stop the bill!

At the age of 18 we are legally considered an adult. We have to pay for a place to stay, work a job and participate in the every day life and activities as a normal adult. We should have the right to purchase tobacco products because we are old enough to go serve and die for our country as well. Once we turn 18 we no longer are owned by anyone else, we own ourselves. Allow us to do what we want with our bodies because they are ours and we deserve to make that decision ourselves. Nicotine is not a powerful mind altering substance like let's say marijuana or alcohol, there are no dangers to anyone else around a smoker other than second hand smoke (which is not such a problem with vaping), the only person getting hurt by tobacco products is the person who is making the decision to use them themselves. We're not hurting you or those who choose not to smoke or vape so let us be and let us smoke!
