Petition for Music to Christian Leaders: Recognize Underground Inspiration of Last 12 yrs of Music

  • by: Clay Wright
  • recipient: Christian Leaders, Public - by Public Press Address

Tens of thousands of professional musicians all over the world have been influenced by and expressed unprecedented lyrical support for one unusual study of ancient, sacred texts that appeared more than ten years ago - due to their collective perception that ancient wise men held vitally important perspectives on what they expected to be the state of affairs in the world at our present time. This same work also took televangelists by storm at its first appearance, who soon found it neither fit easily into prevalent church doctrine, nor the business model of church administration at the time. It was eventually scuttled by this upper echelon of Christian leaders, and even then, only after many years of struggling with it. Needless to say, the rest of the church community followed suit. But the music community saw the great need for the meaning of the work to be eventually made public, and has voiced support for that effort ever since. The theological depth of the study, however, requires some backing of notable Christian figures for the meaning of it to be adequately published, promoted and mitigated for the public.

This petition is intended to muster support for making a public call, by press release, briefly explaining the importance of this ancient inspiration today and calling for Christian leaders to once again rejoin the effort to promote and publish what music has continued in since it first appeared, for the good of the public welfare.

This petition is intended for circulation in the music community. A great deal of investment by musicians, music producers and promoters stands to gain unusual second life if and when this inspiration behind such inspired music is publicly appreciated. It is hopeful a mere few hundred signatures to this petition could give it adequate support for music news sites to pick it up. That should boost its support base significantly. When signatures are adequate for attracting the support of a small primary group of recognized figures in music to decide they would like to go further in such efforts, it is hopeful a public press announcement can be called that will reach the public with a basic description of this underground subject matter behind music, and bear on the hope of Christian leaders cooperatng with the music community in formally addressing this matter.

An open letter describing the importance of this unusual study and some of the points of it, framed as the intended public address, is also adjoined with this petition and can be found below, as well as here in pdf: http://www.cog49.com/OpenLtr.pdf and in video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zj7Y6yzOMQ&feature=youtu.be .

A free document including the most essential topical studies of ancient texts and the implications of it - which has had this unprecedented following in music all these years, can be found here: http://www.firsttabletsofmoses.com

A further objective of this initiative is to establish connections within the music community for advancing this cause in other ways. For any who would like to be so connected, or would like to consider joining this initial effort, this petitioner may be reached on Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/Clay_Wright .

0pen Letter of Petition to Ministers of the Christian Faith

Presented on Behalf of the Music Community

This is an appeal for ministers of the Christian faith to recognize many recent years of Christian efforts and sacrifices of love by tens of thousands of secular music artists, the world over, in upholding certain, relatively new Scriptural beliefs many consider of vital importance to the free world at the present time.

For more than a dozen years now, the music community has widely expressed lyrical support for the publication of certain, important perspectives on modern world affairs, derived from the Bible, in anticipation of their imminent need for publication. Being matters of theological depth, however, the publication of such information has long been expected of religious authorities, for the sake of credibility and public acceptance. But this has not been forthcoming with reasonable expedience, depriving the people of timely information, and long preventing music intended to support that cause from attaining to such recognition.

This open letter and related petition is intended to generate mutual cooperation between Christian leaders and the music community in new and on-going ways of heretofore addressing this matter for due betterment of the public welfare.

In 1998, a new theological study began circulating virally throughout Christian leadership and the music community. The initial effects of it on televangelism were quite evident as a series of unprecedented aberrations in the manners and messages of major televangelists throughout the summer and fall of that year. Many musicians who also received the same circulation at the time or soon thereafter, also witnessed several subsequent years of televangelists first embracing, then debating, then contending with, and ultimately leaving off with the new values of Scriptural insight the work imparted.

The music community at large soon adopted the work and has embraced it emphatically and enduringly ever since. The scale and duration of its wide acceptance in music is now the greatest declaration to the value and importance of this otherwise, yet unpublished inspiration. The full ramifications of this study, although extensive, have never been adequately documented because it introduces entirely new, but very ancient understanding of sacred texts, of world history, of nature, and even of human existence in general. Beyond that, it makes apparent the possibilities of a whole new and better world to come should the natural and friendly principles it teaches gain adequate acceptance in society.

For the sake of describing some of the key beliefs and matters of most immediate concern signers of the related petition substantially embrace with this open letter, the following, basic discourse on theology and current events is also presented as follows.

Moses was given an understanding of divine, natural forces that drive the life of all living things. He also realized eternal life was possible for mankind should it embrace such knowledge. Jesus would later affirm this. What this meant is it could be possible for a civilization of man to become perpetual - possibly indefinitely - unlike so many earlier, ancient cultures of man that had eventually ceased to exist.

The prospect of this becoming reality, however, would not come for a very long time, after one culture of people that could embrace it were first guided through many centuries of social development and had acquired an ultimate position of dominance in the world. Those centuries of greater human progress are the continuum of history and divine promise from the people of the ancient promised land of Scripture to the nations of the free world today. Throughout all this time, this sacred knowledge, and the possibility of man gainfully employing it, remained secretly encrypted by Moses and preserved in the writings that became the first five books of the Bible. The hidden knowledge, however, he represented in his writings as the first tablets he obtained on Mount Sinai - the ones that were broken - the meaning of which would one day be pieced together again. Many portions of Scripture throughout the Bible point to, describe and teach of this one-day-imminent revelation, and the blessings that come of it.

This hidden, ancient wisdom has been revealed in our time. It makes a nearly indisputable case that the West is the Scriptural inheritance of the children of Abraham, and that responsibility for the insight of these new revelations now rests therewith by a principle Moses often elaborated of his work - to choose either blessing or cursing, either life or death - in how it is mitigated. And the ramifications of that decision today, now present, are worldwide in reach, and timeless in scope.

The most immediate concerns with the free world beginning to embrace this new, but ancient inspiration are also inspired by the same revelations. Principal of these is the need to restore some of the ability of the people to guide their own future that has been lost in recent decades. When we look at the greatest scope of time through which this loss has occurred it becomes not only apparent how it can be regained, but also apparent that cooperation between the music community and Christian leadership could well be sufficient to meet this need.

From the time of Samuel, when church and state became distinct as the people chose to set a king before them, subsequent social government has been secured in these two basic parts. States would be the accepted expression of the people in self-governance. But religious institutions would house the inspiration that would lead public education and the development of sciences, keeping them within acceptable humanitarian bounds for the preservation and advancement of human destiny. This was the case for many centuries. But across about the last one hundred years the inspiration behind public education, information and science has fallen into the hands of the private sector and come to no longer serve the needs of the people for the awareness needed for self-governance. Major influences behind these forces of thought and progress now lean heavily toward the private exploitation of human destiny, and with little to no regard for the humanity to which it rightfully belongs.

In the last five years, both the consequences of this removal of powers to the private sector, as well as related awareness of religious and political differences that now need greater attention, have become well represented in alternative and online news media and in social activism - being driven there by disregard or even aggression from major news sources and corporate interests. But the free expression forum of independent music, working with due recognition, cooperation and promotion from Christian leaders, could now be quite useful in bringing such vital insight to greater public awareness and consideration.

When traditional Christian leadership failed to accept this new but ancient inspiration at first opportunity, the Christian world faultered in its one commitment for maintaining the peace and prosperity promised the children of Abraham - by refusing to teach the children the ways of God. But music has now long preserved the hope of recovery from this dangerous mistake, and hereby petitions once again for its acceptance.

Making this matter known now involves bringing attention to a great deal of supportive music that has already been produced and speaks to this cause - while teaching in accordance with the inspiration behind it. Moreover, it is primarily the youth and young adults of today that are most needful of such leadership; and many are already familiar with much of the same music - only without the theology that enlivens it.
